I'm posting from the hospital while getting my first Remicade infusion. The first thing the nurse told me was the she had one pt who felt better even before the first infustion was finished!
My only complaint is a little pain at the infusion site when they up the dose/hour.
Otherwise, the soup for lunch was good and the chocolate chip cookies are amazing. Nurse just gave me a warm blanket to wrap around the IV site. Feels better.
Gotta love this place: comfy recliner, pillow, nice nurses, wi-fi. What more could you ask for?
Oh, yeah. Remission.
