Quick question...post op my plastic surgeon told me that all went well and that he found a small hernia but didn't touch it. At the 6 week apt, I yelled and before underssing made him tell me what he had done...basically he didn't know what was done and used the excuse that he spent the time fixing the hernia so he had no time to do the 'other' stuff. (remove the stoma scars, pull the skin tight, lipo etc)
So, How can I find out if he really did it or not? I know that he is basically B.S.ing me but how can I prove it? would it show on an ultrasound?
On the 16th I will see him at the clinc and he is supposed to excise the 3-4 scars and pull the skin tight all through local anesthetic...am I nuts? He's already been paid and I know if I wait any longer I will never get it finished.

It could be worse...oh, wait..it already has been! then I guess it can only get better from here....

Was it a hiatal (spelling) hernia up towards you belly button? If so they usually leave them alone unless it starts growing and/or
causing problems. I have one and they didn't take it out while doing my incisional hernia surgery.

No, It was an incisional hernia and according to my C.R. surgeon the plastic surgeon did not fix it...post op he told me that he hadn't fixed it and then later when confronted with everything that he 'hadn't' done he used the excuse that he was too busy fixing the hernia...not so...But my C.R. surgeon told me that I have had this one for years and that it is sooo low down that it doesn't risk anything...no longer a problem since he has redone the other surgery to about 50%satisfaction but I am not going back for the rest.

I don't blame you for saying "no more". Seems like he doesn't know what he has or has not fixed. Confused
