Before I came down with UC I could go with about 5-6 hours sleep a night...now I get 8 hours sleep and I wake up tired and ready for a napRoll Eyes
My Remicade infusions used to knock me out for a couple of days - probably due to the ton of Benydryl they gave me to combat the allergic reactions...loved the benydryl shots Razzer
Glad you had a good day!

Well, things are looking up this week! I've been keeping up with the yoga, loads of sleep, and eating well. I did have that bout of exhaustion yesterday, but today has been much better. I am glad I'm doing the Humira shot tomorrow, but it's a great improvement over where I was a week ago. Smiler

I am a little late responding to this post, but wanted to mention the specific carboyhydrate diet (I just started it about a week ago, so far it is going well).. I am actually a bit constipated, which is unusual for me, considering I was still going to the bathroom 10-15 times a day with the j-pouch! I am also trying accupuncture next week.. has anyone every tried accupuncture? I figure anything is worth a shot, sick of being on and off antibiotics, suppositories, etc. Well wish you good luck, feel better Lizz. I am also a massage therapist and want to add that massage is a great way for all of us to unwind and destress! Worth a shot also!

Thanks, Tracy! I get monthly massages Wink They help a great deal! My therapist is well-informed about my health probs and she is really wonderful to me. I am really considering accupuncture. I had a friend who tried it successfully...now just a matter of finding a reputable local person. Also interested in finding a good chiropractor, but I want to figure out what my specific arthritis probs are before I let anyone do that!
