I am coming up on my 1 year from first surgery on december 31st. I really can't believe it! I had a great year even though the first 3 months I was recovering and in pain. After those hard months I was out and about traveling, eating and able to enjoy life. Thank God! The hardest thing was to keep my head up but I did and now I am very happy.
If you have myspace check out the group http://groups.myspace.com/jpouch Later everyone and Merry Christmas Michael |

Congrats! You've been through a lot! I am about two months behind you but I don't think my year has been as eventful as yours!

Mike, Great to hear it bro! Anniversaries with the j-pouch are always a big deal. I have had seven of them and find myself referencing those surgeries as one of the biggest events in my life! Merry Christmas!

Mike,
I'm struggling through my first few weeks after takedown, so it's inspiring to read your post. It helps to realize people really do make it through the hard part where I am now. Thank you and congratulations. Jeffrey H. |
