I had one of three tests this morning to determine if my pouch is ready for takedown. It was only an xray but i got to watch the screens they put dye up the pouch and on the tv i could see it and then it zoomed out and i could see all the intestine up to my stoma! It was the coolest thing ever!!
He said the pouch looked good!! So hopefully 13 days till takedown!!! whooooooo! |

Last week at Mayo I got to watch my pouch scope on, I swear, what must have been a 42" plazma. It was very cool. Except for the banana I had on the way down there. I couldn't believe it was in my pouch already!

I had that xray when I had the an NG tube so the rolling around wasn't fun but I agree the images themselves are pretty incredible.

Good Luck with your takedown.. I just had mine in February and I am learning to deal with this new situation. So far so good.. I have been told that the road back to whatever we call normal will be a long road. But hang in there and be sure we will be praying for you.
