Today is the one year anniversary for my takedown!!!

Words can't descibe the way I feel and how happy and grateful I am to be healthy! On my anniversary for step 1(Jan. 16), my sister called and sang a song for me. It touched me that she remembered what a big day it was. Today, nobody seems aware of it but me but it is still sooo sweet.

I can't help but think Psalm 118:24 "This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it." Amen!

I feel great, I have healed.

I had told myself that I was going to keep coming to this site after I was better and help others going through the struggle of making that decision "to pouch or not to pouch". I admit I have been neglectful to those who were my cheering squad when I was going through this process and I want to give you all a HUGE shout out "I LOVE YOU GUYS!"

I was reading through the forums and noticed several people that had surgery(ies) around the same times as me were paying their respects as well. This is a giant testament to the power of this site. All of the people who regularly post after years and years just to help newcomers, hats off to you. Bill and Dave, wow, you have helped us all!

I had a very quick and easy recovery after my takedown so I just kinda phased out of this forum, but I want everyone to know what a great resource you all have been for me.

Newcomers, you have truly struck gold with this group.

God Bless and much love,
Jada
