| Sorry to hear. Limited sugar may help...streching helps...light exercise helps. Glucosomine may help...Turmeric capsuls too...Hope you get out of pain.

| Artichokes, asperagus and leeks are major anti-inflamatories as well as dandilions...you steam them and drink the water (unless you can eat the veggies without suffering)...they help me a lot and now I have heard that 'poison oak or Ivy) is being used for arthrits and joint pain...they rub it on the painful joints and it has a very positive effect (I just figure that it burns so much that you forget the joint pain, but what do I know?)...apparently it brings blood to the site and lessens the pain...they are a lot of homeopathic remedies that may give you a measure of relief... | Thanks for your suggestions and concerns. Unfortunately, Osteonecrosis pain isn't like typical joint pain. It's compared to the pain of bone cancer. I'm not willing to put myself on a heavy duty opioid because I like to be functioning during the day. I 'm just ranting. Sharon, I do envy your living in Paris where I spent a year of my youth. I miss the pastry shops and the open markets. The doctor who did stem cell surgery on my hips keeps telling me that there is a doctor in Paris who could do the same surgery on my shoulders. I just need the money. I don't think insurance will cover a trip to Paris. Theresa |

| Theresa, Unfortunately I no longer eat anything out of those formidable, exciting, window licking pastry shops...they get my system in a knot...the paradox of it all...Can't drink wine, eat pastries or cheese! (what is the point of living in Paris???)...but if you give me some infor on the surgeon I will look into it for you and find out what I can...maybe you can do an insurance exchange and find a way over for it...you can PM me with any infor and I'll do the due diligence...and then you can eat pastries to your hearts content (and I'll watch!) | I know exactly how you are feeling! after my surgery I felt great as far as the joint pain I had prior to surgery. It seemed tomagically all go away. until about two months ago....I started having so much pain in my hips, feet, back and chest I could hardly move! Unfortunately with my life that is not an option. I have 4 kids and work 3 jobs....just shutting down is not an option. I toughed it out with ibuprofen for a while but it kept getting worse. I wne to the Dr. about 3 weeks ago. I have been diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis...now taking naproxen and tramadol but looking for a new Dr. because the one I saw basically told me to keep comfortable and wait for the worst. not willing to react this way so lookinf for other options. Hope you do too!

| Tiffany - What an insensitive doctor! I went to a rheumy a few weeks ago and while she did rule out something I was worried about didn't seem to care about my firbomyalgia and pain. She told me I'd tried all the drugs though my other doctors that might help or had taken them for my UC and acted like I was wasting her time. Theresa - My husband says he doesn't think you can have pain in two places at the same time. I tell him it's obvious he's never had too many times with multile pains, ha ha. Hopefully your pouch problems get better. I hope the other site is helping you. Have you ever tried healingwell.com? There are all kinds of health problems and posters on there too. Hopefully everyone can enjoy the 4th...

| Hi All, Thanks for the suggestions, sympathies. I stretch and exercise almost every day despite the pains. I even take a ballet class on Friday mornings before my pouch acts up. I am a sugar freak though I try to keep that under control. I'm interested in tumeric and other food ideas for controlling joint pain. A friend of mine told me that Noni Juice has kept her husband running for 15 years.
Sharon, I don't know what an insurance exchange is. How does it work? I'm a little fearful of taking trips but at least I know that they have bidets in Paris.
I'm not very internet savvy and wonder how to hide my posts. I just noticed that everyone else's posts are hidden. I was a little freaked out recently when I was googleing stem cell surgery and found a post from here that I had written. Theresa |

| So that last post I wrote says "hide post". How did I do that? Theresa |

| Mountain - not surer what you mean about hiding posts but if you want to ompletely delete something you've written you can go in to edit it and delete it in that mode. |
