Rave: For the first time in about 3 1/2 years, with the exception of our wedding dinner, my husband and I went out to a movie and dinner. It was wonderful. I felt so normal. I've just come home from my 9th surgery of the year, and since this last surgery, I have really began to feel like myself, the old self I had before all this began. Yea!!

Rant: My grandmother, who I love very much, will be passing away very shortly. She has been battling pancreatic cancer that has now metastasized to her brain and beyond. She will be coming home on hospice tomorrow for what we assume will only be 1 to 3 days. Any spare prayers for her relief would be appreciated.

Love you guys and gals, you are the best!

Glad to hear that you are feeling good enough to enjoy a date with your hubby. May that continue.
Sorry to hear about your grandmother, I hope she is not suffering too much. I hope she is very old and had a wonderful life. Very old meaning over 90. Before that is way to early to leave this world. My mom died of pancreatic cancer at 71 and that was way too young. My prayers are with you and your family.

I'm so glad you're feeling like your old self again. I hope that you get to spend some time with your grandmother and have a chance to hold each other's hands and share a good laugh with her.

My thoughts are with you and your family,

Suzanne
