December 18th will be the year anniversary of my takedown surgery. I am SO happy to be where I am right now. Yeah, there are still a few annoyances here and there, but I've accepted the fact that life is not going to be perfect. I think back to all the complications and troubles I had early on and can't believe I've come so far. I am just so thankful . . .

That's wonderful! Congratulations. Before you know it, having a j-pouch will be something you don't think about that often at all.

If you don't mind me asking what kind of complications and troubles did you have? I am one month out of my take down with complications. I'm struggling could use a friend that knows what I am going through
