Things went well at my scope today.
Seems the inflamation has died down for now. Pouchitis and yeast infection gone away!
Just need to lay off the straining as it seems to be the culprit of some pain down there. Hard to do because I have to poop fast when I am work.
Pepto Bismol/lomitil combo seems to have worked well for me lately. Also, laying off problem foods for last 3 weeks have given my insides a chance to heal up too.

That's all good news. Did they treat you for the yeast and did that stop the butt burn? Stay well and bye bye butt burn, that is such a relief.

The yeast infection went away with a 2.39 tube of clotrimazole (otc at costco). Be careful - sometimes it burns...

In order to "poop fast" I take a deep breath and cough really hard several times (until I feel empty) while sitting on the toilet. This accelerates the elimination routine and I am in and out of the bathroom lickety split. Worth a try!
