It was my two-year takedown anniversary on the 14th May and I‘ve only just remembered it today Confused I think that memory lapse is symbolic of how fortunate I’ve been in that my pouch to date has been superb and I’ve not had a single major issue to date (touch wood don’t want to jinx it Wink ) and that I just get on with things now and forget that I’m any different.
Anyway I don’t post here that often anymore but still browse from time to time. So I just wanted to add this post as encouragement to any newbies or people considering this surgery that there are many of us out there living a happy and fulfilling life and the pouch surgery has been a total success Big Grin
Since takedown my life has been as good if not better than before. I probably make the most of life these day’s, as I know, as we all do how tentative our health can be.
In the past two years I’ve not had a day off work sick, my lifestyle hasn’t been compromised, my diet hasn’t been to affected with most food and drink easily tolerated, I’m socially and physically active, I’ve been on long haul holidays (Australia and Asia), I’ve been on short weekend trips (France and mainland UK), basically I’ve done everything I’ve wanted and I’m feeling champion!!!

I really hope this success continues and I wish everyone out there the best of luck with their pouch’s and general good health.

Cheers

Clive
