Im Dave, 49 years old and had j pouch sugery 2 years ago. Im so happy to have my life back after suffering with uc. Its great to find this forum so i can talk to people that can relate.Doing well now but ive had one spell of pouch itis so far. Anyway , Hello! | ||

Hi! Welcome! It's a great site. I found it after my surgery which was probably a good thing since some of the topics would have scared me! Marianne DX UC 2005 when I was 37 Tried every drug and diet....all failed Step 1- 6/25/10 (colectomy & J-pouch creation) Step 2- 10/8/10 (take down) Very pleased with my results. | |||

Thanks everyone! I live in a small town and dident know anyone else who had a j pouch untill now. I kinda felt alone.IT will be nice to learn and ask a few questions with people that know whats going on.I have got along good with my pouch so far. I wouldent take back my stinkin colon for anything! | |||

Dave, have you learned how to use the search feature on this site yet. It's a great way to look things up immediatly by searching past posts.  ~~~~~ You can't change the direction of the wind, but you can adjust your sails ~~~~~ | |||

Yes, ive used the social strata set up on another web site (hotwheels collectors. com) for years and it works great. I was so happy to see it on here because im not the best on a p.c. | |||
