Okay I am hitting forty soon and just went back to college to get licesened in early chilhood education. I have a degree already in communications, but decided I needed a change. All the physical and emotional baggage that goes along with this disease and surgeries has really taken its toll - I have finally decided to take my life back. I am coming up on my 2 year surgery anniversary date and I feel great. So mid-life crisis or not, I am now the old lady in class! But it feels good!!

Good for you! Best of luck in your studies, I'm sure you'll be at the top of your class.

That's awesome!
I am in college dual Early Childhood and Elementary Ed. major. 40 is definitely not old, it's actually common for women to go back once their children have entered school so you will not be alone. And children keep you young!
Best of luck!
