nys,
God Bless you & your house! I've been through 3 surgeries since April 17th and now I am free from the Ostomy bag & 16 days pos Takedown & doing better every day! I only hope that all of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving & a time to reflect on where you were & where you are now! I know we've had a lot of valleys but we all have days on the mountain tops too! Happy Thanksgiving! Danny

I am very thankful that I am able to eat whatever I want this thanksgiving.

Last year, as I was recovering from surgery, I had to force down the food as my appetite was non-existent. I was dealing with partial blockages and half my diet was ensure, while the other half was soft, bland foods. Mad

This year, pass on the Turkey, Mashed Potatoes, Brocolli, Sweet Potatos, Soda, Pumkpin Pie, Apple Pie and some ice cream Big Grin

I would also like to wish everyone a very Happy and Healthy Thanksgiving. I, too will be enjoying dinner this year, for the first time in a while.

Happy Thanksgiving.

I've had 3 surgeries this year, currently with a bag, so it's down the hatches tomorrow with whatever I want.

Happy Thanksgiving to all you out there!!! I am so glad I found you all here. It has made a world of difference for me. Just knowing that I can come here and share is comforting. Oh yeah, I'm not gonna hesitate to have seconds and maybe thirds. It has been too long since I last enjoyed Thanksgiving.

Time flies!
I remember last year I had the ileo and was able to eat a good meal- not running to the bathroom all day with UC flares.
This year here, I am almost ready to celebrate 1 year from takedown and so very thankful that I don't have to worry about the bag or the bathroom.
I hope everyone has many things to be thankful for. Here's to health and happiness.
