I'm happy you had a great day, and things are back to normal again. It's strange how going back to work and our regular schedule means so much after all we've been through. I hope there are only good days ahead for you....

Jason,

Got a speeding ticket going to work on the Turnpike today. I mouthed off at the Trooper, told him I have friends in high places and let him know that he was making a big mistake wasting my time with his frivolous little ticket...

Oh yeah, I made fun of his hat too.

Can you get it fixed for me... Buddy???

Glad you're first day back was a success! Just please, please don't resort to Tivoing The Price is Right and Jerry Springer. Or if you do, at least don't tell us. Smiler

Good for you Jason!
I love your attitude.
So many people complain about life. It is us who have seen the dark side who realize how precious and beautiful it is.
Best of luck back at the job.

I have the surgery Thursday at 7:30 AM...that way I can watch survivor on some good pain meds Wink. Surgeon said the pouch looked good so hopefully easy operation with no problems. I am gonna walk my tail off, get the pouch working and try to get out before the weekend is over. Quite a few of us are having the plumbing hooked up next week.
I will be pulling for the Steelers when they play the Pats.

Bill,
I know you are very busy and I want to thank you not only for taking your time and posting those great words but for allowing me to call you and go over the K pouch Vs End illeo for me... You have no idea how much i owe you for really helping me sort things out - Great decision and I can never thank you enough! Life is great I am really doing everything I was doing before all this hit Smiler... So thank you and I intend on being on this site for a long long time!
Dave,
Good luck and I know with your attitude and how you are you will be fine. I also know when the normal little bumps hit you will be fine. Wait till you go the bathroom out ur rear and you will swear its coming out where the stoma was.. it freaked me out LOL! Keep us posted when you can with your recovery.. get those walking shoes ready!

Back to work and its perfect... gunbelt fits right ( lol I actually brought it with me to the pre op so I knew it wouldnt hit stoma).. energy is really good and life seems like it was before all this mess! Its funny about 4 months ago I knew it was going to be tough to feel this way but I knew I would .. and now I do - Life is funny how we are pushed right the the edge and before we fall off we finally make it Smiler
