Just wanted to show you all the result of my "Almost forgot what true joy was...a kitten" thread. Attached is a photo of (front to back) Rico, Lola, Cali, they are 7 weeks old. My fiance bought them for my birthday. They are about a million times cuter in person.

Have a fabulous day!

Oh Cataja! They are just sooooo cute! And I'll bet they are full of mischief too Big Grin

So, all that stuff about your fiance being dead against having cats was all kidology then? I would have loved to have seen your face when you got them! I'll bet you were well and truly gobsmacked! No medicine in the world can give the same sort of therupy that a cat (or whatever your choice of pet) can!

I'm so envious of you, but then it wouldn't be fair on Nermal if I were to get another kitten with her being so old and frail.

Enjoy every minute of their kittenhood because it really doesn't last long, but then will be replaced by 3 adults kitties competing for your lap at night! Smiler

Cool Shell Cool

They are just precious! Enjoy them! I'm so glad you got more than one, because they will probably be great buddies with each other!

Congrats!

Terri (and Hobbes & Dale -- my two kitties!)

We have to kitties....one beautiful long haired calico that hates eveyone except my husband. cats are funny. Then my daughter got a fuzzy grey kitten that is pure mischief, Sophia, she steals the kids toys and hides them. she found a disgusting rubber rat that my sons used to stick places to scare mom, anyway Sophia found this thing and has on several occasions caused screaming kids to come running to mom "'cause there's a RAT in my bed!!" Sophia tucks that ugly rubber rat right under their covers....talk about turn about.

Cataja, they are lovely!! Smiler Smiler
The latte-coloured one (Rico) looks just like Oedipus! (I have pictures on my thread "Thank You", also on Rant and Rave.) Congratulations! And I agree, getting more than one cat straight from the word Go is really great. Cleo and Oedipus are great friends and are sooo close. They only play-fight, other than that they cuddle, sleep entwined and are good company for each other.

Thanks everyone. I think my fiance loves them just as much as I do. Whenever I can't find him, he's upstairs playing with the kittens. I don't think he ever had kittens before, just an adult cat from a shelter. Our basenji's are being really good around them. Tia, our female dog wants to play with them so bad. I think she will have to give them a few more months to be big enough to play.

Have a fabulous day!

They are SO cute. I especially like the calico. How wonderful that your fiance got them for you--and is enjoying them as much as you are Big Grin. I am glad he came around (though I still think even three is a LOT of kittens.)
