I just wanted to say that I just got back from a Colorado vacation, and had a great time. We camped for 4 nights (2 south of Vail and 2 at State Forest State Park) and spent 3 in a hotel (1 in Ft. Collins and 2 in CO Springs).

You know, my old pooper was very well behaved. I had to get up a max of once at night while camping (which was a good thing since it's COLD at night there), and things were very well regulated during the day. I didn't have any butt burn or high frequency until we got to CO Springs. I'm not sure why it was so busy there, but I was thankful that during camping and during the driving times it was very manageable. There are plenty of rest stops between KC and CO

In fact, I didn't have to poop in the woods even once. Very nice. I think I was a little less hydrated than usual, and that probably helped - though I did make sure and keep plenty of fluids in me.

Hooray for feeling normal. Oh - and you know what else was nice? With a vault toilet (no flush, hole in the ground), you can't look at your poop so you don't think about it as much. That's a help too!

Awesome. I'm glad to hear your vacation went well. My TD is next week and we plan on going to CO next summer to camp. I hope my experience can be the same.

I have always thought that us colonically challanged should be on perpetual vacation! Neither my j-pouch nor Wee Willie ever seemed to have a problem while I've been on holiday so it must be something to do with being relaxed and distracted from thinking about poo all day long!

I had been going for camping.....but all stopped. I had been thinking of going for Scuba Dive. May be it will be a dream for me or much more to come!
