I just visited my surgeon and I got very good news. My j-pouch is healing perfectly he said and surgery should be in about 3 weeks. Yipee i can't wait. The only bad thing about todays visit to surgeon was that i felt like i was raped or something from behind because he checked with his fingers all the way in and felt around and even put a scope inside in which he also filled me up with air. Oh my gosh i could feel that so bad. No wonder colonoscopys are done under anesthesia now. LOL.

Good news about the surgery! I know what you mean about the those exams though...not fun! Unfortunately those visits to Dr Jellyfinger are a necessary evil...lol

Congrats on having a date for your take down.
Just be ready for an adjustment period and keep in mind that how you function right after surgery probably won't be par for the course. Things will settle down but it could take some time.
