When I pulled up to get lunch there with my kids yesterday. It was my fault - I was driving.
18 hours of leaking, burning raw butt and I was up 4 times last night. All for one combo burrito and 1 bean burrito. Had I known I was in trouble I might as well gone ahead and had some nachos too. It had been about 3 months since I had Taco Bell and I thought I could handle it - wrong! Somebody needs to open a peanut butter fast food joint, one that preferably has soft cushy toilet seats and soft 2 ply toilet paper Hope you all have a nice butt burn free day! David |

HMMmm...Never heard of Taco Bell causing a problem(of course there's always something new popping up around here...Did you use their hot sauce? Try putting a old penny in their hot sauce and it will clean it right up! Now THAT would be buttburn!
Sorry to hear your bell(I mean bum) got rung! Sorry, I had to say that....lol Julie What I say is from the heart...To give, from my experiences..So others can feel well enough to do the same |

Thomas would LIVE on Taco Bell food if I let him. I'm the one who can't take it--causes heartburn. I figure you have to be under 35. He doesn't go for anything with beans, though . . .

Don't deny yourself! Before you place that order...or if in the drive-through.....before you actually eat the stuff....slather on a thick coat of Calmoseptine and even insert a little "inside". Then, go for it!

Bummer Man. I live on Taco Bell. Did anything you had have lettuce in it? That's what I have to watch out for. I always get the Cheesy Bean and Rice Burritos + 1 Packet of Hot Sauce per. Used to be a double of Fire sauce, but that burns me up now. Maybe there is just one ingredient that is causing the problem. I really think the Taco Bell diet is helping me, because the beans and rice tend to bulk things up a bunch. Hope you can figure it out, because it sounded from your last couple of post like things were really getting better for you.
Funny Edit.... I was more worried about not being able to eat Taco Bell, than any of the possible surgery complications. When I was High School age I met my eventual wife when she was working at the local Taco Bell. I was in there so often, I actually started getting to know her there before we started dating like 6 years later, really there is no way I would have ever met her otherwise. Without Taco Bell I might have never gotten married - Tad |

Hey there Tad,
Things are going pretty well as long as I lay off the foods that cause problems. If I stay on normal foods(at least normal for me) there is no problem. There was no lettuce involved...it was the sauce that got me. I figured that out because I had some mexican food without the sauce today and so far no problems. All I had was the beans and rice and some plain ground beef in the burrito and everything went well. I do seem to be still going alot these days but that is no big deal. Hope all is well on the other side of Hamilton County David |

AHHHH I told you it was the sauce!
Just think of how many shiny pennies you could have produced!!!!! LOL O god I gotta pick mysle of the floor! Sorry Dave! I hope you can laugh with me! Julie What I say is from the heart...To give, from my experiences..So others can feel well enough to do the same |

Julie - I have no problem laughing about this poopy life of mine...In fact if I didn't laugh about it the whole thing would be nasty.
My problem was the poopy police(my dear wife) was out of town so she couldn't stop me. She seems to keep me in check when I have momentary relapses of good food judgement. She will probably give me a ticket for hot sauce out of bounds. David |

Pay the fine in pennies!!
Humor....If I couldn't laugh about the things that go on I would be dead.... Julie What I say is from the heart...To give, from my experiences..So others can feel well enough to do the same |

Dave, even without IBS, with Taco Bell, you might as well skip the middle man and throw it right in the toilet

Dave, I have to tell you, as soon as I saw the title of your post I laughed out loud. I knew exactly what you were going to post! Sorry it was a bad experience for you. Perhaps the calmo before intake of Mexican food to protect? Another suggestion? Make your own Burritos at home! Safer! I have been to Mexico 4 times in the last 5 years and have had minimal issues...thank goodness!! I did bring my own Toilet paper though!!
You have to get thru the clouds to enjoy the sunshine |

Whenever I need something to "get things moving," I hit Taco Bell. 2 Soft Taco Supremes never fail me! If I stay away from the beans and sauce, I pretty much avoid the burn, too!

I don't know about you guys, but I wonder a lot of times eating out if I sometimes have problems due to the food, or perhaps due to bacterial contamination issues. I'm not saying all restaurants have issues, but it seems like I have more problems when I eat out - regardless of the food.
The only foods that cause me real problems: lettuce (burn), eggs (burn), spicy hot stuff, and fatty meats and foods - sometimes (stool hard to move out, sometimes burn). "...it came to pass..." - I Thess. 3:4b (NASB) |
