And a whole 2 years later im going to join the gym and get my skinny butt back in shape.

Way to go!! Remember not to over do it and to take it easy at the beginning. I finally started going to the gym just before Christmas and it feels great to actually be getting some exercise and to Want to exercise after not feeling well for so long.
I am still not 100% and have some issues that are slowing me down in the fitness area (and every where else for that matter). I bought a gym membership 3 weeks before i ended up in the hospital...great timing huh?! Luckly they can add the missed time to the end of my membership.
I havent done much physical activity since my first surgery, so that should be a bonus because im eager to go back it wont go to waste |

Isn't that a great feeling!! I just started back into myself. Everything just seems so soft! Need some muscle tone. What kind of program are you doing? I'm gonna stick with toning and strengthening. Walking is the only aerobic for now. For once I can say I'm not so concerned with weight loss as much as strengthening.
Actually starting a kick boxing class today. I've done it before...it is tough but I'll just do what I can. It's only once a week anyway. In fact I seem to have come full circle. The last time I started this class was last year right before my last (ever) UC flair that put me in the hospital. Have fun and get strong!!! Laurie "To Every Time There Is A Purpose" |
