Just found out that my retrograde ejaculation will most probably never subside.

My fiance and I will eventually have to go through In Vitro when the time comes. I guess I should feel fortunate as I had semen stored before my all in one J-Pouch surgery on 8/1/06. That's a good thing, but man I feel like I've been through so much the past few years with the tum and all, and now this.

Just wish there were some sort of solution. It doesn't help either that I am a teacher and see so many jackass parents out there who shouldn't be parents to begin with.

Trying to keep it positive, at least my belly is in order and I'm feeling well.

Thanks, just had to vent.

Brian

Did you talk with your physician about any of these treatments?

Hi Bob,

Thanks for your info link. I did try those medications, the ephedrine in them was supposed to do something to get things going, but all it did was make me so thirsty and crazy jumpy. I tried the Iprimamine as well.

I may go for a second opinion, even though I highly respect this doctor and his decision. I just don't want that catheter experience again!

Hi Brian,
I`m truly sorry that this happened to you.I`m also sure that you and your wife would make wonderful parents and that there are parents out there who shoudn`t be parents at all. It`s funny how God works sometimes.Anyhow just be happy in the thought that at least you weren`t in the 3% risk factor of coming out of the surgery impotent for life like I did.Thank God in heaven that I had my kids(4)by then I`m only 47 years old and have the most wonderful and understanding wife in the world.God bless you and your wife.Take care. Wink
