Hi everyone. Now, this isn't specifically related to my jpouch, but its really the only place I have to rant about this, so please forgive me

. I had a nephrostomy tube placed in May, and yesterday was the day it had to be replaced. In May when they put it in, it was one of the most painful experiences I had, even under a couple doses of morphine (they only sedated me, no general anesthesia). Afterwards, though, it was a bit uncomfortable getting used to the tube in my back, but it wasnt that bad. Yesterday, it was just about as painful, only the pain has *continued*. Now I have some pretty bad sharp-ish pains near my right kidney when I move certain ways. I called the urologist on call last night about it and he didnt seem concerned, just said to go to the ER if I needed some heavy duty pain meds. I decided I'd try to sleep (it hurt even when laying still on the bed

). Luckily, I didnt have much of a problem going to sleep and staying asleep

. Today, though, I have an endoscopy and a ureter stent removal so hopefully they can get me some morphine when I get there. Aaaaanyway... Thats my story
