Hey all... A simple post. I am done on the site. I think my time here is done and I have made a ton of friends and a few - well not friends. Nothing mean to say, I think its time to close this chapter of my book on this site and move from it. My friends here all have my email and I am sure we will talk. I am not done helping ppl.
I will still be heading up support groups at local hospitals and still do all that fun stuff - I think in person has more of an impact.
This site has been wonderful and helped me a ton.. its just time (I know others understand)
Big thanks to all and talk via email!
Unlike some others, I will not be back so please email.
CHAPTER CLOSED!

Jason,

Today is a sad day for me. I am so sorry you are leaving this site. I know that we don't personally know each other, but you have helped me in ways you can't even imagine. I still have ulcerative colitis and have not had surgery. I have followed all your posts and it has been your attitude in the face of adversity that has given me strength. I wish you many many years of good health and happiness and hope that when the need arises or the time comes for me to have surgery that I may contact you.

Thanks again, for your encouragement.

Jason,
No need to be impulsive, I was once like you are now(CAT STEVENS) you are younger than me and i have reacted the same way even at my ripe old age.
You are a valuable member of this community and a dear friend to us all. When 2 members have conflicting personalities you can PM each other or ask for intervention but the public banter is unfair on both sides, takes 2 to tango.
Don't leave.
Isn't it bad enough that some members have such great lives they forget us?
Come on now, think it through.

Jason,
Have a great life and remember...
When out on patrol and you stop someone for speeding because he/she has a flare going on and needs to poop REAL bad help them out by giving them a "siren blazing police escort" to the nearest poop room.
You were the first Steeler fan that I could relate to!
Take care, will keep you in my prayers.

Jason, I'm sorry to see you go. You've been a valuable asset here and a great friend to many. What makes this site so wonderful is sharing our experiences with each other, the good and the bad. It takes some of the fear away. I know when I was having my corrective surgery last February, your experiences, your humor and most of all your friendship, helped me through a very scary time. Sometimes humor is the best medicine. Your attitude is contagious and will be missed.

If anyone would like to contact Jason, please use his email, he won't be checking into the site.

Sorry to see you going. Reading about what you have had going on really put me at ease about the surgeries. Just the knowledge that I could live a relatively normal life even if the pouch failed is really comforting. Thank you for all your input on the board.

Copperhead, that remark was totally uncalled for.
Jason, I'm so sorry you have decided to leave. Those of us that have spent time keeping up with you know all to well how much you have helped others. I will be keeping up with you in email.

Jason,
You are a valued member of this community and sometimes people communicate better with this type of forum. Please don't let one person gain the satisfaction of getting the upper hand.

Copperhead: Was that snarky comment necessary?...not very productive or helpful..."if you can't say anything nice..." my mother's advice
