Yep, that's right, guess who had a MAJOR flare up topped off by a partial obstruction?? Come on, you know I can't do anything simple!..Spent the past 2 days on lots of IV meds, had the usual scope, CT abdo/pelvis, abdo plain film (x-ray), and full blood work/cultures...surprise surprise, it was a nasty pouchitis flare up, topped off by a partial bowel obstruction, wo-who!!..I've never been happier to get back to my own bed!( I can NEVER sleep in the hospital!)

Right now I feel as though I've been run over by a truck! I'm a tad drained, but thanks to Morphine, Fentinol, Tylenol 3, Gravol, Imodium, Cipro, and Flagyl I'm flying high and feeling no pain! (LOL!!!). I hope this goes away in a few more days, I'm exhausted, but am feeling much better than a few days ago!..not sure what caused it this time, the last thing I ate on wednesday night tasted ok, but by 3am it didn't taste so good coming back out again!....

Oh well, I just had to vent a little, no real harm done, still alive and kicking!..hope all is well in your prespective worlds..

Oh geez Eric, glad you are home and hopefully feeling better! I know what you mean, even with my loud fan on high, ambien, ear plugs, total darkness, private room ( if I can get it) thrown in with what ever pain meds they are giving me I still just can't sleep in the hopsital!

Oh sweet thing - that's too bad. I'm so glad, though, that it was a partial and not a full obstruction. And that you were only in the hospital for 2 days!!

Glad you're feeling a bit better after a good night's sleep Eric. There really isn't anything like your own bed is there?

Get plenty of rest this weekend and take it easy on the junk food (yeah right! ).
