Hey, all. Well, for the longest time since the surgeries and Crohn's diagnosis I was living on a very restricted diet. No corn, nuts, beef, pork, shellfish, limited veggies and fruits. I still won't touch a raw apple, b/c I got a blockage from one once, but I have successfully eaten bacon, small amounts of ground beef, veal, shrimp, corn, and cabbage. It's SO nice to have a diverse diet. I have forgotten how nice it is to be able to eat what you want and not be scared to death of the consequences!

Yayyy Liz!!! I hope your range of edible food continues to expand. If you'd like the taste of a raw apple again, why not try making applesauce from raw apples? Peel them, core them and send them through the blender.
