I just started an intense aerobic/toning class tonight. I swear I'm not one of those Bridezillas who wants to look good for her wedding day, well maybe that has something to do with it... Seriously, I figured it's been enough time since my adhesion surgery in August to get back into shape.
But I was wondering if I should be modifying the ab work because of the incision. I think I should be fine but I could be wrong... Thanks! Go slow, and don't forget about your lower back. Try to work on your entire core. Just take it easy at first, up your routine weekly. And if you can, talk with a trainer. The last thing you want to do is strain your core.

Thanks Bill! The class instructor does a lot to focus on posture and core muscles. 90 minutes of non stop moving = I am sore today. But it's a good hurt.
I have to get in shape for our CCFA walk! "You must be the change you wish to see in this world." -Gandhi UC dx: 1/01 Step 1: 10/5/06 Step 2: 12/19/06 Adhesion Surgery: 8/9/07 Expecting a little boy 1/8/09! |
