Hey everyone it's amazing what a year makes...
I am about a year and a half past takedown and feeling great. I'm living the life of a typical 23 year old soon to be 24 on sept 8th...which means back to college Frowner

I have been to the beach 3 times and counting. Going to atlantic city this weekend. I'm working out...playing sports I love.

Basically I still am experimenting with foods but stick to my foods that bind me up. I take lomotil (about 4 a day), sometimes I might pop a metamucil waffer. I don't really have restrictions I just know what foods sit well and which foods don't.

I still check my myspace group...

Nice to hear from you! I really enjoyed your video which I saw before my surgeries. I am now about 6 weeks after take-down and feeling basically great. Just went for a 5 mile hike today, so that says something.
Enjoy the last few weeks of freedom! I, too, go back to college in Sept, but as a lab instructor, not a student (I'm the one that grades all that work!)

Thanks for letting us know how you're doing, Mike. I'm glad to hear that you're having a great time and living your life the way it should be lived.

Have a wonderful time in Atlantic City and best of luck for the next school year.

Hey Mike, I had actually seen your youtube video before I even knew you were on this site, I just joined and it was a nice surprise. I will join the "J-pouchers anonymous" on myspace.

Glad your doing well!

Nurse: "And...Would you like us to resuscitate you if you stop breathing during surgery?"

Me: "That'd be nice, if it's not too much trouble."
