I have found it difficult to be a "normal" college student while dealing with the issues related to my pouch. I am starting a new blog about the life of a college student with a jpouch, so if anyone wants to discuss any topics my blog is: http://jpouchtakesoncollege.blogspot.com/

sounds like a great idea! I was in my last years of college when I was diagnosed with UC at age 22..I didn't have the j-pouch surgeries until recently at age 24. I graduated a year ago but was planning on getting my masters this year. really glad i didn't because i would have missed a whole semester due to surgeries and hospitalizations. hope you're blog works out and that people appreciate it Smiler

Your blog link doesn't work anymore! I'm a college student, 22 years old, senior at Old Dominion University. I'm actually taking next semester (which was supposed to be the last semester b4 graduation) off to have the surgery. If you could repost your blog that would be awesome.

I reactivated my blog! I probably won't be writing a lot until the school year starts back up. I don't really use the computer that much during the summer.

Feel free to ask any questions though! I've done everything imaginable (conventional and alternative) to keep my jpouch working and healthy!
