Do you and or other pouch people attend? They told me about it when I had my surgery but I only had the ileo for 8 weeks. I didn't know people attended afterwards.
It looks like we have the same occupation as I do/did. We might even know each other.

Hi I'm new to this site, I had my first step done july of 2010 and takedown oct 2011 with lots of problems along the way. I am having a surgery on feb. 15th for a fistula. I live in southwest iowa and see doctors in Rochester, MN at the mayo clinic.

Sorry to hear that you are having problems. I had my surgeries in Des Moines, my surgeon trained at the Cleveland Clinic so I didn't go to Mayo. I went to Mayo years ago for my UC and they are terrific so I thought about it...
I've had some complications including an incisional hernia, that required another surgery. Were your surgeries laproscopic or open?
I hope your surgery is a success, please keep posting and tell us how you are doing.
