well hello Jeff and Liz...Oregon is lucky to have us! Too bad our colons could not join us.

Jeff, I went to OHSU briefly (2 days) hoping they could save my colon but no luck. Then I was shipped back to Kaiser for surgery. Just had my takedown on March 17th. Happy St. Patrick's Day to me. I have bad memories of OHSU because I was in ICU and was forced to use a potty chair given that their ICU rooms did not have private toilets. Awful. That should be illegal.


Liz, welcome to Portland. I have lived here 5 years. I am originally from Alabama. Portland is a great city. I live in NE. How about you?

I'm near Salem oregon, but my colorectal surgeon is in portland. I see dr mark Whiteford at the oregon clinic. I had my surgerys at Providence.

I had two visits to OHSU but my surgeries Where done at Scared Heart in eugene by Dr. Dehass. The hospital was built last year so it was a great place to stay. Portland is a great place to live.

I'm just across the river in Vancouver. I'm about to have my surgery done on August 20th by the same surgeon as you Alicia.
