Hello! My name is Nichole and I'm 23. I have FAP which is the sister disease to UC. It is a hereditary disease and when I had a colonoscopy done they said I had the colon of an 80 year old woman with millions of polyps. I had my entire colon removed in April of '03 and had the taken down procedure in July of '03. I am currently engaged and my fiance has Crohn's in which we go for his Remicade infusions every six weeks. I've been doing "OK" with my tummy. I have plenty of questions so be on the look out for me in other forums. On a side note, I'm a hairstylist who loves Disney (Especially Ariel), tattoos, playing video games and music. I also just lost my father who was 44 to cancer (Ewing's Sarcoma) so if anyone has some stress reliever advice for the tummy please please let me know because I am really really suffering.
XoXo Nichole

hey Nichole, I'm glad you found the site. It has helped me a lot in my decision to have my colon removed. I have UC and just had the fist surgery June 27 and I will have the second in Oct. I'm a little nervous for the second surgery, just the recovery part. Also I'm 24 and I'm an esthetican and nail tech. If you every want to talk you can message me.
