Hey everyone,
you all know my mom Stell better than you know me, but I'm always checking around the site. I wanted to write on behalf of the 2008 Youth Rally Committee. If any of you are, or know anyone ages 11-17, the (formally) UOA youth rally is in San Diego this year, and they are a little short of kids! I went to the rally 3 times when I was in highschool, and it really changed my life. The internet it great, but actually getting to meet other kids with our diseases made a world of difference. If you want to check it out, go to the website http://www.rally4youth.org/index.php The deadline for signing up is April 15, so act fast- it's really a wonderful excperience.

Also, I'm not sure if this is appropriate on this site, but I'm running a 1/2 marathon for the CCFA in July, and agreed to raise $3500. If anything, I hope this helps inspire others on the site who feel hopeless that, 10 years after getting my j-pouch, I'm healthy, happy, and well, running a 1/2 marathon!! Any west coasters, kathy? The marathon is Napa-Sonoma on July 20th and it supposed to be pretty beautiful if you want to come cheer us on.

But I'd LOVE to donate to YOUR marathoning! When I went to your link it didn't mention your name and the amount listed to raise is different - $5,000. Do I need to go to a different area of the site or am I in the place? And if you need a place to stay on your way up, let me know.

Nope, that's the right link. They put $5000 on the site just incase I go over i guess. Or to make it look like I'm nowhere near my goal haha.
