Hello!
I've had my j-pouch since 2001 and the whole experience drove me to become a nutritionist. I went to school in Seattle (at Bastyr) but i need a change and am moving to SF in June.

I'm reaching out to all the people I know trying to find the perfect place... we don't know each other but we may as well since we've share the same-ish experiences!

If you know of anyone looking for a roommate, please think of me! Here's some more info:

My ideal situation is:
-my own quiet room in a not-drafty house
-said room would ideally be furnished (at least with a bed)
-easy street parking (this is a must!)
-proximity to Bart/MUNI
-no-fog zone (I want sun!: Bernal Heights/ Castro/ Mission/ Noe Valley/ Potrero Hill)
-shared bathroom is just fine
-kitchen is fairly clean
-washer/drier in the house
-rent around $800

About me:
-35-year-old woman, named Anna.
-born in Pittsburgh, college in Indiana, lived in Chicago, Washington DC, Portland OR, grad school in Seattle, Charlottesville VA & back to Seattle... and next San Francisco.
-I'm a nutritionist & hope to work with people with inflammatory bowel disease and autoimmune disorders.
-i like to salsa dance, read, walk among trees &/or ocean, explore neighborhoods, sit in the sun, meditate; go to farmer's markets, plays and happy hours for cheap food. And I just started taking singing lessons to bust out of my shell a bit.
-i'm studying energy work called BodyTalk and need to practice (on roommates!)
-not a partier, early-riser, smoker or big drinker; i'm bad at small talk (like to get to the nitty gritty) and need to have chunks of time by myself.
-i've seen many ads that are opposed to visitors- I'd like to be able to host a Seattle friend every once in a while.
-i like to converse, but don't like to argue (as in political discussions or, well, arguments). i really like to keep things positive and respectful.
-i'm laid back, generous, clean, kind (and humble).
-yes, i'm a nutritionist, but i would never criticize what you eat (unless you're eating 2 twinkies for brekkie)!
-allergic to cats, but love them & can live with them as long as i don't touch them (unless they're furFactories). No problem with dogs or other creatures.
-I'm a carnivore (i only mention this b/c some people I've met want to keep a vegetarian household).
