I just found this site about a week ago. I sure wish they had resources like this when I had my surgery. I was diagnosed with UC in 1985 when I was 13. I suffered with it and had many hospitalizations until I had my first surgery on December 3rd, 1993. Things have sure changed a lot in what they can do and the availability of help. I'd love to meet others that deal with this and I'd be more then happy to share my experiences living with a j-pouch since 1993. Without the resources there are today.... I learned a lot from trial and error....
I would appreciate if someone can help me with all the acronyms used on this site...LOL
