Hey, I'm Michael, I'm 22 years old and planning on having the J-Pouch surgery next month at the Mayo Clinic. I'm desperate to find people near me who are dealing with some of the same issues I am! While I have a great support group within my family I feel very lonely in my bout against UC. Everyone shows great amounts of sympathy but I don't think they truly understand what it is we go through.
