My parents live in Marietta! Though I live in Florida.

We'll be coming up for Christmas to visit.

Hi lindsey I live in warner robins ga. I have not been to this site in a wile. I have not found enyone in central ga. that is a poucher.

I am in Gwinnett County, about 30 minutes from Atlanta. I am going on 17 years since my surgery and reversal; I was 17 at the time. My J-pouch is still functioning and I am thankful for everyday that I can say that!

I am 1year since my reversal and I finaly feal like I'm getting my life back. It's great to hear that you are doing so well, but it must have been vary tuff at the age of 17. I was 33 when I got my j-pouch.

I was definitely distracted from the typical 17 year-old girl drama, that's for sure. I had a few close calls making it through the night. But, I tell you what, looking back it was the best decision I ever made. My Dr. and parents ultimately left it up to me, and with their support and knowledge, it saved my life. Now, I have been married for nearly 15 years and have given birth to 4 children....I am alive!

It is nice to a success story. I was fortunate to have a daughter to live for,to help get me through it. I tried everything to avoid surgery but it was the best thing I ever did for myself.

Wow!!! I have been ill and not checked the site in a few months. I am so so sorry guys. I would love to put together an Atlanta group, or even a southern group. We need the support of each other. Friends can help, but they can only understand so much. Please let me know when everyone is available, my schedule is pretty flexible and we will put together our first meeting!!!! Yeah!!!

I'd like to have a meeting if one was set up. I am sorry to say I do not have the time to plan one myself. If you did manage to to set one up I would need to plan ahead for it.I hope you are fealing better and doing well.

Wow this thread has gotten busy. We need to have a meeting sometime in the near future. Who would like to be the organizer? If we could do something in the middle of where everyone lives that would be great! I am about 30 min. North of Chattanooga so its not that far to meet new friends!!!
