I am so sorry to hear about both of your mother's passing! My mother passed 1 Aug 07, it is very hard. Mine was only 69 after a long stuggle with ovarian cancer, we spent over a year dealing with her colostomy, at least I could help her with that since I had a colostomy and ilestomy in 2000. My mother also wished to die at home with her children by her side, thank goodness that got to happen. Mom was still putting off Hospice the weekend before she passed, she said I'm fine let's wait, they were all supposed to come starting the day after she passed! But I called them early and they were wonderful that day, took care of everything! I recommend them to everyone, don't wait until the very end, they are such a help, I didn't realize how tired I was. Yes all we can do now is make them proud of us, carry on their spirit and cherish the good memories everyday! Hang in there!
