Hi NCM84, you are a great girlfriend. You story is a lot similiar to mine. Joe had UC when we met and had some rough times prior to us getting married.(BTW< it will be 17 years of marriage next month). Just be patient and hang in there, it will all work out. But, be sure to take care of yourself too. I hope he recovers well and you can both move on.

just wanted to give everyone an update....i just got home from the hospital from seeing alexis. they had to put a tube down his nose to drain his stomach. he was throwing up way too much and they didnt wanna take any chances of him straining his body more than he should. he's not happy about the tube at all. but at least his nausea has calmed down. his gastro's assistant went by to see him today and he said that the tube will be there until his intestine start functioning the way it should (in other words, until he passes gas). he's all alone in the hospital and it hurt to leave him. they just recommend that he rests.
