Call Dr. Fazio's office and make sure that what he said he was sending is actually what was sent...

unfortunately, yes, it is the right valve, with all of the owrking pieces.
I called the maunfacturer and unloaded on them. It is pretty much a semi-prototype that doesn't have all of the kinks worked out of it. In the end, around 1:00am I had to pull the whole thing out! I was prolapsing with it in me and all of the stool was pouring out of the sides. Interesting evening! I put the cap/plug back in and prayed that I could actually intubate this morning. It took about an hour and lots of blood but I managed to intubate with a Marlene 30 and lots of lubricant. I have since intubated twice and it is less difficult but I am still using the 30. I am officially in trouble. I don't think that I can travel in this condition. I will try to find out from my French Social Security if they will cover England. I may just be forced to either go to Dr. Nicholls if he will take me or wait for the French guy who has very limited experience. For the moment I am jst grateful that I could intubate this morning. Prune juice is my friend! If it weren't for Holly H I would have gone nuts already. I am still up for suggestions Sharon This morning |

The manufacturer is not charging me for it if I don't use it. As per previous message, It did not work. As predicted the slider flew off into the toilet at the first try. I hate fishing into toilets for tiny little pieces of plastic
Back to plan one, wait for a man with a scalpel and practice with a K pouch to get back from summer vacation! Sharon |
