Keep an insulated cooler in the car. To keep the catheter straight try using a money belt or long fanny pack.

what I have been doing is cutting the cather down to size then folding the end (the end without the holes) and keeping it in a toothbrush carrier container. I have found that the fold at the end can be pointed straight down into the toilet.

Thanks I will try. Chris has a valve that goes up so curved may not work, either way he is stubborn and won't try it!

Should have mentioned this, and almost found it out the hardway. Make sure you dont pick up a toothbrush carrier with a little vent hole in it, otherwise you could end up with a wet pocket.
