Are there any restrictions with a k-pouch? water or snow skiing? scuba diving, hiking, exercising? or anything else anyone can think of. thanks, your input is greatly appreciated.

I was told no Karate....33 years ago. Afraid a kick in the stomach might not be such a good thing...

Dawn,
I have mountain climbed, gone diving, played a number of racket sports, biked, swam and dived and did all sorts of sports other than contact sports....I have recieved nasty kicks to the gut and been hit head on into the pouch...neither did me very much good Big Grin...I would probably avoid anything that would put your pouch at risk of a direct hit but I would not treat myself like a crystal vase...fragile and breakable...I consider myself to be strong and healthy but with a fragile k pouch valve...and I live consequently...do whatever I like but nothing too stupid.

It could be worse...oh, wait..it already has been! then I guess it can only get better from here....
