Awesome!

I like to make a carrot, kale, celery, ginger, and lemon drink. Just use a little ginger because it's really strong, about 2 inches long like the size of your pinky finger. The celery will help add water volume without having to actually add water.

Good for you on buying yourself a Christmas present!!! I like buying presents for myself!!!

Don't know about celery with a k pouch, does the stingy stuff really turn into mush? Sharon will know since she's the blender queen of k pouches!LOL

Celery will just come out as juice and all the strings come out the waste part of the juicer, plus most juicers have a fiter on top of the juice container so only juice and no pieces of pulp get in the juice, which is nice since the lemons can get pulpy. I think "pulpy" is a word...

Am I the only one who really eats veggies as in 'salads'? even occasionally?

I eat most veggies without any significant problems. Some, like cooked/rubbery mushrooms or whole corn kernals or pieces of raw carrots, do give me regrets each time I eat them (by clogging up the tube) although when I do eat them I try to chew them well and I do try not to eat much of them; and I know I should not eat those at all, but sometimes they're mixed into something I'm eating from a restaurant and the food is just too tempting at the moment. But most other vegetables don't really give me any difficulties at all.

Thanks Holly, I love the title: Juicer Queen!
Better than some I have been give. Roll Eyes
The only rule that I know regarding juicers is: Juice whatever you like and have fun making your own mixes.
To detox your liver or galbladder?: Carrot and lemon.
To reinforce your electrolights?: tomatoes, lemons and all citrus plus parsley and cilantro. Yes, you can juice herbs too, an incredible source of iron and trace minerals!
I find that I can do onions and garlic mixed with herbs and then pour it over fish or meat as a kind of sauce! All of the flavour without the fiber!
There are no rules except that you should try to juice only what you will be using in the next few hours and try not to keep it for days. You get maximum vitamin and energy in the first 2 hours.
You can also use your extracts as bases for soups and stews and other foods like shakes. I Use both the juicer and hand held blender all the time to make sure that I can get all of my vitamins and don't feel deprived.
Another good hint, juice really ripe fruits and vegetables, you get more flavour and taste and the best results.
I have been juicing pineapple and mixing it with carrot or citrus for 29 years!
By the way, for you creative types, the "waste" left over from juicing carrots and citrus make excellent ingredients for carrot cake!!!!!!!It is so finely grated that it doesn't "get stuck!"
As a matter of fact you can use almost all of the grated leftover fibers in soups and stews...waste not, want not! Big Grin
Just beware and start out with small quantities until your body is used to it!
Merry Christmas early and enjoy!
Sharon
