When Dr. Joel Bauer at Mt. Sinai in NYC does them, he has a plastic surgeon assist. I think he gets much better results when doing them this way. I know a woman in DC who had hers enlarged there. She spent one night at the Mt. Sinai Residences before returning home.

Gorfine is doing it.
I was so lucky I had an appointment with him this morning. For some reason last night I could not my catheter through the valve, I tried for 3 hours. Gave up and held it for 14 hours, I wanted to kiss Gorfine when he got it in this morning.
He thinks the difficulty I had was because the stoma was so small that I could not angle it in. I did not like his face this morning when he saw the stoma and said "I don't think we are going to be able to get a catheter in there." Hopefully, this will be the last surgery for a VERY long time.

Gorfine is a nice guy. Tell him John Wine in Virginia says 'hello'. He will do a good job.

I mentioned you at my last visit with him back in early May. I could not recall your last name, but did remember your location. He knew you.
