I am going in for a K-pouch revision on friday, and was wondering what I was looking at in terms of time in the hospital, and approximate recovery time. I am meeting with my surgeon on Thursday, but didnt want to wait that long for answers.

Who is doing your revision? Is it for a slipped valve? You could be in the hospital for 5 - 7 days. Take the recovery slowly and don't put too much pressure on the valve too soon. Do it very gradually. Don't eat any rough, gassy foods for quite a while.

Right at this moment all I know is that there is something wrong with the valve, in that I am having some what I consider bad leakage issues. See my other post entiteled "pouch settle in time". thanks.
