i can only muster up energy for a quick post. apparently i'm massively dehydrated. my heart races even if i stand up from sitting. so tomorrow i go in for hydration at my doc's office.
holly, i haven't gotten the stamina yet. is it a package or big envelope?

so, i'm hope hope hoping that the hydration tomorrow helps me feel better b/c as it stands right now i havne't been able to do anything all week. literally just laid in bed for almost three days.

holly, nevermind, i'm an idiot. the box is sitting right in front of me. Alright! time to try out some stamina (it says "fizzy"...that worries me. but if chris takes it and is fine, i'll trust it)

Becca, you are so strong and really keep your spirits up - a true inspiration to us all.

I also go in like Peter is saying for IV drips whenever I get dehydrated. Dehy is so dangerous and hard on your kidneys so your dr's need to take it seriously and help you.

well, i didn't last til today, i ended up having to go in last night and get admitted to get some hydration.
the heart racing really got my mom worried.
i got probably over 2 liters.
though, oddly enough my blood work from before they started it was pretty normal, electrolytes were good, rbc was good, wbc was a bit low, but not dangerous considering i got off chemo saturday.
so they did an ekg, then next morning (today) i got an eckocardiogram, which seems fine.
and then my doc figured he could get me in for some other tests while i was there, so i got a transvaginal ultrasound (since i'm supposed to get a ct scan next week to see how the chemo is working, they figure they could also get some sorta idea/picture with an ultrasound too.

anywho, i finally got discharged today, all hydrated and refreshed (with super smooth skin from all the damn ultrasound gel )

Okay - it's not like people say this ALL the time, but it needs to be said again (and often). You are one amazing chickagal! You're going to be doing some amazing stuff and it'll be happening even sooner than you think. You'll bounce back from this latest road bump just like you've bounced back from everything up to now. I can't even begin to tell you how much I admire you. You are a heroine to more people than you know. Keep on keeping.
