Definitely! I used to feel as if my pouch was made like a pair of lungs...with 2 chambers. The first emptying easily and the 2nd needing a wiggle-hoola dance. It varies according to gas/contents etc. Some days I woshh out all the contents in a minute and others it just doesn't want to empty and I give up and go back an hour later. It drives me nuts when I have to go out and I know the pouch is just not ready. Sharon
It could be worse...oh, wait..it already has been! then I guess it can only get better from here....

I find that flushing my pouch with water helps a lot so I do that because I also HATE the idea of going back in an hour later. I also push on my belly below the stoma and that usually helps push out air.

Yep! I do some funky turns while sitting on the pot and also found if I have my cath in and lean way forward then back, much more will continue to flow. It's all about gravity or sometimes a damn unchewed food chunck. I also hate the idea of going back an hour later - so maddenning! Irrigation does help, I am so lazy about doing that often enough!
