Just leaked really badly....first time with the new stoma...am pretty freaked out...I hope that it is a one off but I really have not been lucky lately...am afraid that I injured the valve last night trying to force a tube in...will take out the wire and try to put it back in, tape it down differently....maybe it is only the positon of the wire????
Can't be a damamged valve!

I personally wouldn't take a chance on inserting a coat hanger inside my catheter. I also wouldn't suggest doing this.
You should check with your doctor if you think this may be necessary and follow his/her directions.

So glad to hear that you are doing fine Paul...I told you that one day soon it would all be nothing but a bad memory....unfortunately mine is a really bad nightmare at the moment with no end in sight!
I will put up a new post now and let everyyone know...
