Ok, first pain the other day then a leak yesterday and sever pain last night. Hard to intubate on wake up. Was overfull and had a hard time for just a few seconds...Am seriously freaking...couldn't even imagine going through this again...and again..it has been a really hard and rocky road...if God is trying to test me...then I think that I am done...can't keep going through this...pray that it was just a piece of something or another stuck in the passage. Can't be twisting again...too much surgery is so short a time...
Dr. C said it may be overflow but I absolutely never had any sort of overflow when the valve worked right...could I have damaged it? All of the strange and weird intubation and forcing over the last 2 years must have put a strain on it....help!freaking out!

You definitely have had enough of this leakage problem. I would be worried about my valve too. Forcing is something I have had to do because I didn't get to it in time. Mine is woking alright despite a lot of forcing Keep me posted on what is going on please.

I have had pouchitis clear up but have had some pain I can't figure out what is causing it. It has to be the food.

Hi Jeannie, Thanks for answering..I was feeling a touch abandoned there....well I am 1 week post leak and fine for now..dr. said to wear a cover or glue on a bag when I go back to work to be safe (?) so that the skin is not irritated..I live in fear of being trapped inside Paris public transportation and having a leak..a biggie..and then showing up to school a mess..you must understand..it takes over an hour and 3 different trains to get there..getting home is a nightmare!
Will need extra change of clothes along with the rest..For now...no new leaks so I don't know if it was something stuck in there or a real problem...PTSD is alive and well...fear is my constant compagnion and driving me mad...go out for walks and to the nearest markets but no further...Damn...I am scared.
