Was wondering if anyone has had any surgeries done at the Cleveland Clinic? I have had some issues and have been refered to Dr Dietz at the clinic for some surgery. Just curious about the doctor and the hospital stay, would appreciate any feed-back anyone could provide. Thanks!!

Dr. Dietz is my surgeon, and I LOVE him, and his staff. Very personable, caring, and knowledgeable. I don't have a k-pouch. Actually, I have an end-ostomy now after failed j-pouch attempts (not Dr. Dietz's fault... he saved my life after another surgeon had screwed around with a fouled up j-pouch for over a year). I have had 3 colorectal surgeons, and Dr. Dietz is by far the best among them. Good luck!

Dr. Dietz is also my surgeon. I am 1 week from potential take down surgery for the j-pouch and him and his staff have been fantastic all the way through.

Yeah! so happy to find this old post. Dr. Dietz is the surgeon I am going to see on August 17th! So glad everyone loves him. That sets my mind at ease! Awesome!
