I am very grateful for my pouch and valve. I babied it for many years in the begginning never eating anything remotely able to clog the catheter during interbation. I got brave as time moved on...but still avoid many foods that take too long to deal with in the restroom. Until I found this org in 08 I had only met one other kpoucher...I find it liberating to read all these threads...good or bad....with members that understand. Cheers to another 31 years! Happy K pouch birthday to you  ...and many, many more!I am at 32yrs, not without complications but I am still fighting for my baby and hoping that 'he' stays healthy and strong for another 32!
